Hi, let me introduce myself. I am Jean Platt Spencer an LPGA T & CP Division member, Class A professional, with over forty-three years of teaching experience. I have been the Director of Instruction at Somerton Springs Golf in Feasterville, PA where I have conducted many group and private lessons year round.

In addition to my own programs that I administered at Somerton Springs, I also taught beginner and intermediate golf classes for Bucks County Community College and have been the Golf Instructor for several YWCA’s.

I am also a teaching professional for the LPGA Golf Clinics for Women since their inception in 1991, as well as instructing in many other corporate clinics.

I have been a featured presenter for several national golf shows and have served as the golf professional on a cruise for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Mission Statement

"Every student is an individual with different goals, motivations, strengths, weaknesses, etc. My job is to work with the student assessing these differences to help each student understand the swing mechanics by keeping it simple and with the use of drills to help make learning more efficient. My method of teaching is cause and effect and trying to keep it a fun sport."
